KICK START COURSE

As a first-time rider, the next step after setting up your Ridernet profile is to complete a Kick Start Course with a Motorcycling Australia registered coach. This five-hour course includes both practical and theoretical assessments, covering ten competencies or modules, and is typically conducted in a small group setting.

Upon successful completion, your coach will sign off on the Kick Start booklet provided at the beginning of the course. You will then need to apply for a licence and upload scanned copies or clear photos of each required assessment and theory page to your Ridernet profile under the licence section. If you require assistance with this process, please contact the coach you completed the course with, the Club Secretary, or your State Controlling Body (SCB). In NSW, this is Motorcycling NSW.
